Zero Actuation Force
For users with severe arthritis, muscular dystrophy, or advanced Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), standard mechanical keyboards are painful or impossible to use. KeyboardHand requires exactly 0g of force. If you can twitch a muscle by 1 millimeter in mid-air, the 850nm IR array can register it as a keystroke.
Custom Mobility Mapping
Using our developer SDK and visual macro tool, users can map the entire alphabet to just a few functional fingers. Because chording allows multiple inputs simultaneously, a user with only one functional hand can type faster than a two-handed hunt-and-peck typist.
Spatial Freedom
KeyboardHand does not require a desk. The sensor can be mounted to a wheelchair tray or positioned above a bed, providing full computing access without forcing the user into a rigid, painful posture.
